The Henderson Libraries Foundation is a tax exempt organization that is funded by donations in several key ways:

Gifts

Monetary gifts are accepted from individuals or organizations in any amount and may be restricted or unrestricted in use.

Grants

A grant is a sum of money donated with a specific outcome in mind.

Bequests

A bequest is a donation that happens at the time of the donor’s death and is left behind in the individual’s will.

In-kind donations

A gift given in goods, commodities, or services instead of money.

Libraries today are full of activity. In addition to traditional books, the Henderson Libraries offers public computer labs with free Internet access, DVDs, music and downloadable media for check out. It also offers hundreds of free programs for children, teens and adults every month. In short, by supporting the Henderson Libraries Foundation you are giving the gift of libraries to generations to come. The Foundation also recognizes those donors that do not wish to remain anonymous.
